We would like to present you a ”Góralska Piekarnia Chochołów”, whose  owners are: Krystyna and Maciej Miętus. The company is located in beautifully situated  place near Zakopane, in the etnographic village  which is famous from the very exceptional wooden cottages and is one of the oldest villages in Podhale – Chochołów – in Czarny Dunajec District.

Our products are baked  according to old recipes. Following the spirit of time we do not forget  about contemporary sense of taste and expectations of our customers. In our assortment healthy products are not missing. We offer aramantus bread (bread for heart), or bread regulating the level of  cholesterol, strengthening the resistance of the organism, improving concentration. 

Following the tradition, bread  baked on a bread shovel in the old bread oven is tasted by our guests in many hotels, restaurants, etc. on the so called “highland tables” which are popular in Podhale but also in other regions. We had the chance to prepare such “Highland Table” to the morning TV programme “Kawa czy Herbata”. On many occasions our products occur on meetings with the well-known Polish highland poet and writer – Wanda Czubernat from Raba Wyżna who wrote such book position as for example “Góralski Brzuch” and who writes wonderful texts to the well-known and popular Highland Cabaret “Truteń”.

Our products can be bought in many shops from the rocky Podhale to the city of  Cracow.

We direct our offer to everyone  because we want to encourage you to taste products from our “Highland Bakery”. We would also like to present the most interesting facts concerning our products, but also some history of bread in the section called “Connoisseur Corner”.
